WELCOME TO THE RABBIT HOLE.

We have a thing for rabbits.

Welcome to the Rabbit Hole, our blog about ubiquitous curiosities. Some of which only those of us with keen twitchy sniffers can flesh out.

“Business strategy, brand strategy, creative strategy and its strategic execution, all connected, all wrapped up into a survivalist bunny” is the best way we can describe ourselves and how we work with our clients. Why the rabbit? We thought you’d never ask.

Let’s start with that keen twitchy sniffer, shall we?

The winds of change begin with “something in the air.” By the time businesses are hit with a realization of opportunity from a trend, it’s usually too late. The window, previously wide open, closes quickly with B2B early adopters. Do you know that big corporations have “scout teams'' whose job is to anticipate external trends and what their practical relevance is to the business? We are the scout rabbit on your behalf. We sniff out opportunities before the storm.

In that same regard, we are future seekers. When you’re walking across a log that crosses a raging river, don’t look at the river. It will consume you. Look ahead. Brand development and its friend marketing, for instance, do not look backwards. Brand development is where you want to be, not where you are now. Marketing also focuses forward, in that it’s still a game of multiple contacts. By the time your messaging compounds to understanding, weeks, months or years have passed. What you do today requires you to communicate the future. We predict successful outcomes and work backwards.

Listening is one of our favorite skills, and frankly, good listening is rare. There is too much information in the world, and it is not prioritized, nor is it balanced. As information catchers, we hear you, not selectively, but completely. We also hear what others are saying that might provide you with opportunity.

Minimal fluff means we do not add inert ingredients to what you are paying for. We do not give you a deck when a conversation will do. We do not impose layers of PM protocols to overcomplicate simplicity. We do not charge for or factor a line item for internal meetings. Regardless of fluff or not, we will always do our best to make working with us fun. We are always thinking, but we do the work as it should be done.

Did we say we were fast? Well, we can turn on a dime. And if you’ve made it here, you know we can outrun a trend. Speed is a variable that we factor in the definition of quality. At no other time in history has speed become a requisite for success in marketing. As speedy leapers, we can also confidently say that our intentionally flexible infrastructure allows us to personally avoid the tangle of thickets that comes with larger agencies. The reality is that when you are assigned a team at larger agencies, they’re often flush with juniors who translate to profit centers. The briar patch of process, delayed and unnecessary meetings and onboarding protocols built for lowest common denominators is something we simply jump over. We’d rather just hop to it.

Ergo, our mascot, the rabbit. Tiny, but mighty, and here to stay.
